What is microATX?

MicroATX, often known as mATX, is a motherboard that is 9.6″ wide by 9.6″ deep and can be as tiny as 6.75″ wide by 6.75″ deep. This is a smaller motherboard used in an ATX or smaller computer case and was originally released by Intel in December 1997.
