OnePlus’ 2022 flagship phone will have a 5,000mAh battery and faster charging, according to specs released at CES 2022.
OnePlus is still hiding information regarding its next flagship phone, the OnePlus 10 Pro.
A steady leak of official confirmation of some of the phone’s features began on Tuesday at CES 2022, ahead of its sale next week in China.
A larger 5000 mAh battery, even faster charging and better cameras are among the early features.
The OnePlus 10 Pro will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 engine and the company’s OxygenOS 12 operating system, confirming previous speculations, which are based on Android 12.
There will be a triple rear camera configuration, with 48-, 50- and 8-megapixel lenses, as well as provided for.
The 32-megapixel lens will be on the front for selfies and video calls.
The OnePlus 9 Pro has a similar rear camera setup, with a 48-megapixel primary lens, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and an 8-megapixel telephoto lens, however, the company has not confirmed that this will be retained on the 10 Pro.
Hasselblad is still committed to the imaging system, although it’s unclear what progress it will bring.
OnePlus has yet to confirm the screen size and resolution, while reports claim it will remain at 6.7 inches.
On Tuesday, the company announced that it would have a 120 Hz refresh rate.
Along with OnePlus’ SuperVOOC and AirVOOC additions, the phone will support 80W fast wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
The OnePlus 9 Pro had 50W fast wireless charging, while wired charging was limited to 65W, allowing it to charge its smaller 4,500 mAh battery from chargecharge00% in 30 minutes.
There will also be reverse wireless charging, although its pace, like many other characteristics of this gadget, is unknown.
The price of the phone also remained unknown.
