How to remove unnecessary symbols from Word

I would like to say hi!

Using the Show All option in Microsoft Word allows you to see every formatting mark tags, including spaces, carriage returns, new lines, tabs, and new paragraphs.

It looks like a reversed “P.”
In the sample text in the image, the primary formatting symbols are also displayed.
To activate or deactivate this feature, click the Show All, or pilcrow, button on the built-in toolbar.
If you are unable to view this toolbar, select Standard under View -> Toolbars.

In Microsoft Word 2007 and later, the Show All icon may be found in the Paragraph section of the Home tab.

These symbols are not formatting marks, thus if they are still visible after disabling the Show All option, they must be removed manually.
