How to fix sound problems in Windows 11

Follow these instructions to solve the most common sound problems on a laptop or desktop running Windows 11.

1. Open the Settings menu.
2. Select System.
3. On the right, go to the Sound page.

For the Fix, common audio problems setting, click the Output devices option in the Advanced section.

To start the troubleshooting, press the Yes button in the Help app.

Follow the instructions on the screen.
