How to find and restore deleted photos on a Samsung device

Utilizing the Gallery app

Keep deleted photographs and movies in the Trash for 30 days until they are permanently erased.

  1. Open the Gallery app and select Menu.
  2. Tap Edit after selecting Trash.
  3. Choose the photographs you wish to recover and then hit Restore.

Activate trash

You should have switched on Trash before deleting photographs if you want to use it.

  1. Open the Gallery app and select Menu.
  2. To enable Trash, go to Settings -> Trash.

Items in the Trash will be permanently erased after 60 days.

  1. Open the Google Photos app and select Library.

For simplicity, gallery sync through Samsung Cloud has been switched to MS OneDrive.

  1. Go to Gallery, then More options, three vertical dots, then Settings.
