Follow these steps to turn on the power-saving feature automatically.

  1. Open the Settings menu.
  2. Select System.
  3. On the right, select the Power and battery page.
  4. To access the options, go to the Battery section and click Battery saver.
  5. To choose whether Windows 11 will use power saving mode, use the Turn battery saver on automatic option.

The Always option allows you to keep the battery saver always on.
You can also disable the functionality by selecting Never.

When using the battery saver switch, turn the Lower brightness option on or off.
It’s best to leave this option on, as brighter screens hurt battery life.

When you complete the instructions, the battery-saver mode will be activated when the battery level drops below a certain percentage.
