There are several perspectives, sometimes known as layouts, for how pages or slides are shown in Microsoft Office products like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
You may choose whether to make adjustments to text or images since each perspective alters how the information is displayed.
Reading mode, web layout, draft and outline view, worksheet view with page breaks, and slide view with presenter notes are examples of standard views.
The default view for Excel and PowerPoint is the Normal view, whereas the default view for Microsoft Word is the Print Layout view.
Look below and follow the directions if you want to switch the display or layout to another one.
Change the view by using the Microsoft Office ribbon
- Launch PowerPoint, Excel, or Word.
- Open an existing file or create a new document, spreadsheet, or presentation.
- Select the View tab from the ribbon at the top of the application window.
- The views portion of the View menu is on the left and offers additional options.
The application window will change as you select the desired perspective to utilize.
