A group of high school students, including Alex Browning, are getting ready to travel to Europe.
He screams to warn the others when he suddenly has a feeling that their plane will crash, but instead, he and the others are flung off the aircraft, and the plane crashes shortly after they exit.
One of the survivors inexplicably passes away a few weeks later, and Alex understands that things have simply become more complicated.
